Flanders home on Green Lake - Winfred Hamlin writes in his autobiography, "In the spring I was sixteen and I got a job on Walter Flander's farm. He owned nine hundred ninty [sic] nine acres around Green Lake. He had a hired manager for the farm. He had a large home by the lake. He had a small green house. There was a large herd of Holstine [sic] cattle. They hired three men to take care of them." |
